A fine impression in fine condition. From the Joseph and Marjorie Relkin Collection. "The Bather" is seventh in a series of 12 prints used in a national advertising campaign for the American Car and Foundry Company from July 1930 through August 1931. The print ran during the month of February 1931, and was featured in such magazines as "Time" and "Town and Country." Published: "Printer's Ink Monthly," January 1931; "Rockwellkentiana," 1933; and in the Russian translation of "It's Me O Lord," 1965.
