State ii/II. Inscribed in plate lower left: "J. Farington R.A. del.t"; lower right: "J.C. Stadler fecit"; lower center: "London - Published as the Act directs 10 Feb.y 1792 by John & Josiah Boyell No.90 Cheapside". A fine impression in fine condition aside from some tears in margins, not extending to image, and a 2" tear along platemark in lower right corner, with margins extending at least 3/4" on all sides. Engraved by Joseph Constantine Stadler after a work by Joseph Farington. Sold as a set with the impression of state i/II and the colored impression of state ii/II of the same print for $1,200.
