Description:	Probably published as a plate in Delamotte's 1804/6 "Forest Scenery" as part of his "Forest Trees" series of 1804-10. Signed and dated in plate lower center: "Wm Delamotte 1804"; signed in plate lower center margin: "Wm De la Motte delt."; inscribed and dated in plate lower center margin: "Publifhd as the Act Directs by Wm De la Motte, Octr 1804.". A fine impression printed in brown ink on heavy cream wove paper mounted on Japanese tissue with sheet measuring 17 x 22 1/2 inches. In fine condition aside from marginal tears not extending into platemark and stain lower right margin extending 1/2 inch into platemark.
