Description:	Initialed "D.V.T.". From the estate of the artist. In fine condition. Only known lifetime cast. This small sculpture most likely dates from the 1930s, the same period when Talcott produced The Gate. Both works depict a female nude in roughly the same pose and it is believed that the artist used the same model for both.
